As at 21st April, 2015 your website needs to be mobile friendly if you want to be reached by the thousands of clients searching on their mobile devices. Google is changing its algorithm and how it ranks sites and if your website is not mobile friendly you will start to see your rank decline.

This is such a significant issues for some businesses this change has been termed ‘mobilegeddon’ with many businesses scrambling not to lose their rank when the change happens.

Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results. Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimised for their devices.

First, if you’re not sure if your site is mobile friendly, please use this tool.

Just enter in your domain name and the check will be completed for you. Remember to check ALL of your pages, not just your home page.
